现任卫生技术评估福建省高校重点实验室主任，学院卫生经济政策研究中心暨老年健康研究中心主任。兼任中国卫生信息学会医学统计教育专委会常委、健康医疗大数据健康档案与区域卫生信息化专委会委员，中华预防医学会健康保险专委会常委、生物统计学分会常委，中国老年医学研究机构联盟常委,中国老年学和老年医学学会理事会理事,国际生物统计学会（IBS）中国分会理事，福建省医改研究会常务理事，厦门市预防医学会副会长、卫生经济学会副会长、老年学学会副会长、卫生健康信息学会副会长等。

作为学术带头人，带领团队长期致力于老龄健康与养老照护、健康医疗大数据挖掘与健康管理、卫生技术评估与卫生经济政策等研究工作。

主持和参加国家级、省部级等各级课题100余项；国内外杂志发表论文200余篇，其中SCI/SSCI文章80余篇，参编教材30余部。获国家及省部级等多项奖励，如国家级教学成果二等奖、全国老龄政策调研优秀成果三等奖、福建省医学科技奖二等奖、福建省老龄政策调研优秀成果二等奖、厦门市科技进步三等奖，获聘美国公共卫生的最高荣誉团体——美国公共卫生协会（The Delta Omega）荣誉委员。
